Accountability Buddy

We’re really good at making excuses for ourselves.

I’ll work out tomorrow. I’m too sore to work out. I should rest up today.

If you hear yourself saying anything that sounds like this, you need an accountability buddy. Find a person you trust and genuinely cares about your well-being. Tell them what you’re going to be doing on a weekly basis and have them check in on you to see if you’re keeping up.

You can even make it a bet to raise the stakes. Like if you’re not on track that week, you owe your buddy a coffee or lunch. Whatever it takes to get you to do what you need to do.

No excuses!
