Warren Buffet said, “We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful”. He was talking about investment strategies and how you shouldn’t follow the masses. When everyone is panic selling, you should hold. When everyone is buying and inflating a stock’s price, you shouldn’t buy.
This piece of advice extrapolates to other things as well. Because why would you want to be like everyone else? Like the average person? Is the average person happy with their jobs? Is the average person living their dream? Is the average person going after everything they want in their lives?
Don’t follow the masses. Forge your own path. Go against the grain.
