Irritated

Irritated. Annoyed. Tired. Hungry. Sick.

Any combination of these can cause us to lash out. It doesn’t really make us feel better. But it’s just easier to let loose at whoever is unfortunate enough to be in our line of fire. Maybe it’s a loved one or a friend that will get the brunt of your rage. We’ve all been there.

We’ve also all been on the receiving end too. You’re just minding your own business and all of a sudden, you get smacked by the wrath of unrestrained fury. It doesn’t feel good.

So the next time you find yourself starting to feel it. Irritated. Annoyed. Tired. Hungry. Sick. Recognize it. Be mindful of it. Maybe remove yourself from the situation if possible. Before you lash out at someone you care about.
