So it’s almost October, which means it’s almost Halloween. We decided to try to find a good spooky movie because we put on Silent Hill last night and it was a disappointment. Not enough Sean Bean.
Tonight we tried Open House, which was promising for most of the movie. Character development, interesting relationship interactions. Then the entire climax and conclusion was utter crap.
But this movie did contain a recurring theme which was personally terrifying. The main character Logan needs a very strong prescription to see clearly. He has to reach for his glasses upon waking up suddenly. There was even some shuddering close up of contacts being removed from his eyeballs.
With my level of vision, I can’t imagine not having access to my glasses.
