Over the weekend I tried the 10 burpees in 10 seconds challenge. After a few tries I was able to squeeze in 6 so I posted the video up on Facebook.
Today, the Centr Team replied saying that they loved my post and wanted me to DM them. Surprised and delighted, I quickly showed my wife before sliding into Centr’s DM.
Turns out they wanted to see how I’d feel if they were to share my video on their social media. And of course, I said sure!
Two big takeaways.
One. People want authenticity. I wasn’t looking for recognition or attention. It was a fun challenge and I wanted to share my genuine attempt.
Two. Do things and share. Centr wouldn’t have reached out if I didn’t share my video. No one would have seen my attempts if I didn’t record my challenge. And NOTHING would have happened if I just saw the challenge and did… nothing.
