We’ve been rewatching Whose Line Is It Anyway (UK series). In addition to being all around hilarious, it’s amazing how good they all are at improv.
A big thing with improv is that it is live. There are no do overs. And whatever comes at you, you have to roll with it. It’s not a place where you aim for perfection.
What’s important is doing what comes to mind. There’s no such thing as failure. If something doesn’t work, you just keep going, move on to the next thing and try again.
It’s a good practice in more things on life. Ability to adapt. And to move past things that don’t quite work as planned. It’s important to just do it. And then do it again. And again.
