What does Passive Income REALLY mean?

The term passive income has become a big buzzword for people all over the internet. Whether it’s people looking to retire early, have an alternative to the 9-5 job, or some looking for a magic bullet. Everyone has a different idea what passive income means.

While it’s true that everyone will agree upon the results that it means after it is “set up”, active time is not needed to upkeep the influx of money.

What is often unclear or ignored is the fact that the work involved in setting up the passive income stream take work. Mostly HARD work. And time. Often LOTS of time, with minimal to no reward until completion.

It’s the tough truth. Money follows value. And in order to have a stream of money to flow without needing to add more value, you’d best believe whatever is set up has already a lot of value in it.

Think about that, the next time you hear about a passive income opportunity. Think about the value that is enabling the money to flow. And then think about how that value is generated. Who’s time and work will be used to set it up.
