We get takeout once or twice a week from a few of our favorite restaurants. And when it comes to leaving the tip, I just pick one of the higher options, 18, 20, 25%.
My wife and I have been blessed to have been minimally impacted by Covid financially so we feel that when we do decide to spend money on things we love (like getting our favorite takeouts) we should really support these businesses and their workers.
While it may feel like a minor gesture to us, if more people do these small acts, they will add up and really make an impact.
