It’s a popular game that you’ve probably played at a college party with your friends. So which did you pick when it was your turn?
If you pick truth, you’re willing to open up your past. By admitting to potentially embarrassing things, you’re choosing to be vulnerable in front of the group of people.
If you pick dare, you’re subjecting yourself to however big of jerks you’re playing the game with. They could make you eat something gross, or do something really dumb and embarrass yourself.
So, depending on who you’re playing with you see, one of the choice in Truth or Dare is the clear choice. None of us like to be embarrassed, and we fear different potential consequences.
Maybe, I’m reading too much into it, but I think depending on what each person picks, you can tell what they fear more, the past or the future.
