Today was my last day at Somfy Systems and it was bittersweet. It was sad to leave so many great coworkers behind as they’ve helped me grow, in and out of the office. But on the other hand, I’m venturing into the exciting untested world of entrepreneurship.
As part of my farewell, I sent a companywide email and my inbox was flooded with well wishes. Overwhelmed with gratitude I looked back at memories with each of these coworkers as I replied to them individually.
I then did a one on one call with each of the team members and we talked about our life journey outside of the office. I hoped that I was able to impart just a bit of wisdom and inspiration.
As I look forward to my own new adventure ahead, I’m also excited to keep in touch with my now, former, coworkers and see them thrive in their future.
