Recently, I stopped by my mom’s house and looking around I saw a bunch of ‘stuff’.
Extra plates, tchotchkes, even some of my grade school projects. Looking around, I thought to myself, I’d have toss this stuff that I consider junk.
Then, I thought to my own desk area. It’s a mess, full of stuff that I’m sure others would consider junk. The slightest sentimental value tethers this stuff to my desk and prevents me from easily tossing it in the bin.
We’re all guilty of this. When it comes time to spring clean – let’s re-evaluate our criteria to keep or to toss.
